Gamma Burst and Atomic Aroma are still the go-to Action Skill and Augment combo, but this build fares much better with teammates, especially without Lick the Wounds to double your res chances.
The Spiderant Countess is a good pet pick for the health regeneration and damage reduction bonuses, as well as its ability to make a huge corrosive puddle. Our Borderlands 3 FL4K Leveling Build Guide features a complete step-by-step leveling guide, mainly focusing on your output of critical damage and aggro relief while keeping the early progression exciting and powerful.
Fl4k is a very viable option for solo play! With a selection from three trustworthy companions Skag, Jabber, Spideranta constant pet by your side will lessen the aggro from large groups of enemies, taking most of the pressure off of you.
Although this build heavily leans on offensive skills, few of Fl4k's skills in this build compensate for the lack of survival with tons of HP regeneration and aggro relief.
After using your action skill, you'll be able to regain it in no time with cooldown reduction skills. The following is the full build you will end up with, but it isn't how you should level it up initially.
We've got a step-by-step guide below that features what skills you should have as you level your character!
At level 2, you'll be able to use your action skill and pet. You can also issue an attack command for your Spiderant to charge at enemies.
Keep in mind that it has a short cooldown. For the action skill, stick to Gamma Burst for AoE area of effect and pet buffs. After reaching level 3, go to the Hunter orange tree on the first tier and add 2 skill points to I nterplanetary Stalker and 3 skill points into L eave No T race. This gives you multiple bonuses for one skill.
Additionally, it stacks to gain increased bonuses depending on the type of enemies you kill. For L eave No Trace, you will be able to add free ammo in the chamber for simply attacking an enemy's critical spot, allowing you to shoot further before reloading S econd Intention gives slightly faster reloading, but is somewhat redundant to the future of this build as you'll keep regenerating ammo!
In the 2nd tier, you've unlocked an augment for the action skill Rakk Attack! Spend 2 skill points into Head Count for the possibility of reducing your action skill cooldown upon dealing critical damage. Be sure to add this as your second action skill augment. Swap out the Spiderant Centurion for it! You have finally reached the capstone for this tree!

It's time to switch over to the Stalker green tree. Combine this with your insane RPM and other critical bonuses. We've got different builds that will be useful for Mayhem 4 and the Takedown at Maliwan's Blacksite!

We're featuring multiple builds that you can choose from which take advantage of the different skill trees. Credit to Dakquan. If you're tired of doing a lot of aiming and firing weapons, then this might be the FL4K build for you!
This one focuses on hurling Hunter-Seeker Grenades that have the capability of critical hitting and using the damage bonus from the Unforgiven pistol. The build is fairly easy to use! Hurl your grenades at any enemy, and use Rakk Attack over and over. This deals a ton of damage, especially when combined with a good Unforgiven.
You'll want to look for either the Rakk Attack! R4kk P4k will be the Class Mod you look to use, it synergizes well with the build, but you mainly want to find one that gives additional weapon critical damage to Jakobs.

Credit to Joltzdude You are going to want to make sure you have the Red Suit Shield, because it grants you immunity to Radiation damage. That's a pretty big key, because you'll be splashing Radiation damage around, and even inflicting it upon yourself.

The Devils Foursum is one of the weapons you want so that you can splash yourself with Radiation and gain that damage buff from the artifact. One of the other weapons you'll really want is a high damage Radiation Protuberance. This is a purple rarity weapon, so make sure to keep an eye out for it while you are farming. A Red Fang Class Mod will also come in handy, because enemies will focus on your pet rather than you!
The build itself is fairly straight-forward in terms of skills, it's a lot of the stuff you've seen before with FL4K Fade Away crit builds. Itemization is a lot more important when heading into Mayhem 4 and the new raid. You'll want a Brainstormer to take on the many enemies you'll be facing. This will rip up shields and chain lightning onto multiple nearby enemies and is the main weapon you'll be using. The Maggie is your main weapon for when you're looking to deal damage to a single target, and the Cutsman is another high damage option for bosses.
These do not stack, so make sure you don't overlap them with the same elements. This build centers around launching your Rakks at enemies for huge amounts of damage.
This is obviously very helpful in boss fights. The R4kk P4k Class Mod is another great addition to this build, it will split your Rakks into two more Rakks once the first one hits an enemy.
